Bah-freakin-humbug

You know what cracks me up? I'll tell you. All my life I've heard, "don't be in such a hurry to grow up". When you're little, all you want to do is be older. When you're older, all you want to do is look younger. And yet society is constantly rushing us.

For example, tonight I was at the grocery store and my jaw literally dropped when I saw (are you ready for this?) HALLOWEEN CANDY!!!! Do they not realize there's a heat wave outside, or the fact it's JULY! Chocolate melts, people! According to grocery stores, it's already time for little princesses and comic characters to be knocking on your doors. I bet within a few weeks, we'll Christmas decorations at Target.

Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love the holiday season. But by the time Christmas rolls around, I'm sick of "Rockin' around the Christmas Tree" because we're saturated with the Christmas spirit starting on November 1st.

I'm all about being prepared, but when do you think is a good time to start getting in the holiday spirit?
